To the entire family…. I am so sorry for your loss. I am sure this has been a very hard road for all of you. My thoughts and prayers go out to you all. I can’t imaging losing a child… As we all know, the parents are supposed to go first. Sending love from both John and I.

Dear Fern, Ron, Josh and family:
We are saddened by Marni’s passing. She was a brave and courageous warrior, and a super loving mother, wife and daughter. We remember with fondness the Rosh Hashanah we all spent together, laughing over honey.

There are no words to expressed how sorry and devastated we are about Marni’s passing. Marni was the best daughter, mother and wife to Noah and Josh. She loved being a mother more than anything. I remember her beautiful smile and her kind words. When I think of Marni I recall her Bat Mitzvah and she was radiant at her wedding. She loved being with her niece and nephews and going up to Lac de Flambeau with the whole family every summer. She will be in our hearts forever.
All our love, Caryn and Allen

Dear Fern and Ron,
My deepest sympathy and love upon the loss of your dear daughter, Marni. I was fortunate to meet her on happier occasions, but I also got to know her through her exceptional parents as a very charming young woman. She was a devoted mother to Noah, loving wife, dear daughter and fond youngest of her siblings. To her entire family, may all the bright memories of her you hold in your heart continue to fill your lives as the years pass.

I have many memories of spending time with Marni when we were younger- playdates and sleepovers. I was shocked to hear of her passing as I did not know she had been ill. I am so sorry for the incredible loss to your entire family and hoping that her memory remains a blessing for all.

I’m so sorry to learn of Marni’s passing. We met two years ago when our children were in the same preschool class and quickly became friends. I remember when Marni shared with me her history of cancer. I couldn’t believe someone so positive and full of life had been through so much. Throughout our short friendship, it was evident not only how big Marni’s heart was and how important her family was to her but what a caring and wonderful mom she was to her beloved Noah. My thoughts are with your family during this unimaginable time. Wishing you peace as you remember Marni. My deepest condolences.

It is with deep sadness we send our condolences to the entire family of Marni Shapiro Fain.
We certainly remember her well from both B’nai Tikvah and Deerfield Public Schools and all the years she shared classrooms with our daughter, Audrey. May her memory live on for a blessing, and may you all find peace in holding her memory dear to your hearts.

Dear Fern and Ronald and family:
I was absolutely devastated and saddened to hear of the passing of Marni! Elise went all
through school with Marni and they played together when they were younger. I even have a picture of the two of them when I took them to Hallowfest at the Botanic Gardens. I did not know that she was so ill as I have not been in contact with you for many years.
Please accept my deepest condolences. I told Elise and she could not believe it. I cannot
even begin to imagine the sadness you are feeling and the difficult time it is for you, her
siblings, her husband and her little boy. Just wanted to reach out and let you know that
we are all thinking of you.
